The Ravensberg Group is headed up by Chirag Lakhani. He joined Baker Tilly Greenwoods, one of Cape Town’s oldest and largest accounting, auditing and independent advisory firms, in January 2000 and qualified as a CA (SA) in 2004. He was admitted as a partner to the firm in 2005, one of the youngest partners in the firm’s history, and was appointed a senior partner in 2015. There he headed up the foreign exchange and international taxation division gaining extensive knowledge in foreign exchange regulations, international taxation, and the mechanisms thereof. He’s acted in an advisory capacity in transactions relating to group restructuring given his in-depth understanding of the related legislation.

Chirag also has extensive experience in Trust Management. He has been a trustee of numerous trusts with high net-worth individuals, including those with total asset values ranging from $20m-$500m per trust. He was first appointed as a trustee in 2005 and maintained the role of either a trustee or in an advisory capacity to both the patriarch and family members.
