Chirag joined Baker Tilly Greenwoods in January 2000 and qualified as a CA (SA) in 2004, thereafter he was admitted as a Partner & Director in 2005.
Chirag has been involved in the audits of various international, listed and private companies in a variety of sectors, including retail, service, investment holding and manufacturing.
Chirag has also been actively involved in various consultations and restructuring transactions relating to group restructuring and has an in-depth understanding of the related legislation.
He headed up the foreign exchange and international taxation division at Greenwoods and has an extensive knowledge of foreign exchange regulations and international taxation and the mechanisms thereof.
Anthony Van Eden
Anthony joined PWC in 1980, leaving them in 1990 to join Liberty Asset Management where he was appointed as Executive Director, and as Chief Operating Officer in 1996.
He had full responsibility for the merger of Liberty Asset Management and Standard Bank Asset Management [Ant] operations and where he occupied the position of Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer of Stanlib Asset management. He was the Fund Manager representative on the dematerialisation of the JSE equities market and was appointed to the Board of Strate as a non-Executive Director.
After his departure from Stanlib he was appointed an Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer of Strate and was responsible for the successful implementation of the electronic dematerialised Money Market Settlement system and the successful implementation of Strate’s centralised Collateral Management Services to the country’s securities financing markets. He is and now is the Chief Operating Officer of 4 Africa Exchange with full responsibility of the operations of the Exchange and 4AX Registry. He has and continues to sit on the committees of several Associations, the SARB and other capital market forums.
Roland has spent over 25 years working in the Investment Banking industry.
He joined SG Warburg in London in 1990, where his primary responsibility was arbitrage trading Gold shares between their various stock exchange listings. By 1998 he had joined Deutsche Bank and moved to South Africa when they purchased a South African stockbroking business.
For the next 10 years, he had various roles on the trading desk, including dual listing arbitrage, facilitation and risk trading and management. He then moved on to Macquarie South Africa, where he joined, and ultimately ended up heading their institutional sales team. He was also appointed to the Exco of the SA business.
